with Mario Parnell, Medicine Guide & Minister, Congregation for Sacred Practices
The land holds a medicine of its own. Through private and group journeys in nature, sound bath healing, and the somatic touch of NATouch, Mario offers a mending softness to support your return to your birthright of self-love.
The freedom to love yourself builds a compassion toward oneself.
As a minister at the Congregation for Sacred Practices, I have witnessed the power of this transformative work firsthand. My own healing began several years ago, and it set me on the path I walk today.
I offer a mending softness to support your return to your birthright of self-love. A decades-long career in commercial photography, the craft of building ceremonial wooden altars, and a lifelong connection with nature all shape how I meet clients on their journey of “Coming Home to Self.”
It is a gift to witness the beauty of a client’s unfolding. The freedom to love yourself, and the discoveries made along the way, build a lasting compassion toward oneself. I invite you to inquire into what it means to be you.
One-on-one ceremony on a chosen sacred terrain, from desert landscapes to quiet forest, or at home. Each journey includes preparation and integration.
Small, intentional circles held outdoors. Journeying alongside others brings its own medicine: shared presence, witnessing, and the reminder that we heal in community.
Immersive sound from bowls, gongs, and resonant instruments invites deep rest and lets the nervous system settle. Sound is offered on its own, for groups, or woven into journey ceremony.
NeuroAffective Touch® is a gentle, consent-based somatic practice. Attuned, nurturing touch meets the places words can’t reach, supporting regulation, safety, and a felt sense of being held.
At the heart of Mario’s work is the healing power of being outside. Open sky, desert stillness, and living ground invite the body to soften and the mind to settle into presence. The natural world becomes part of the ceremony, a mirror for the wilderness within.
Pacing, consent, and safety come first. Every step is held with care for your nervous system and your history.
An IFS lens helps you meet every part of yourself with curiosity, so the deeper Self can lead.
Present-moment awareness anchors the journey and carries what you discover into daily life.
NeuroAffective Touch brings the body into the healing, offering safe, nurturing contact that helps the nervous system rest and reorganize.
Vibration and tone soften the edges of the mind, opening and closing ceremony and deepening rest during integration.
Insight becomes lasting change through follow-up sessions that weave what was found back into everyday life.
Most journeys unfold outdoors, in desert landscapes or on a chosen sacred terrain where nature’s presence supports the work. Journeys are offered privately or in small groups, often opened and closed with sound and held with somatic care. When home feels safest, a private journey can take place there too.
A consultation and preparation sessions to clarify intention, build trust, and make sure the work is right for you.
A held, unhurried journey day, private or in a small group, in a setting chosen with care, with Mario present throughout.
Follow-up support to weave insight into everyday life, so the experience keeps unfolding.
I am so very grateful how you’ve supported my healing process through your constant love and kindness.
Thanks to you, my vitality and joy for life has returned in a way I never thought was possible. Your guidance, presence, and allowance for me to return to my “Self” is such a beautiful gift.
The Congregation for Sacred Practices takes safety and ethics seriously. If you have concerns about any of Mario’s practices, you may contact the CSP Ethics Coordinator. Read the full CSP Code of Conduct.
Every journey begins with a consultation to explore your intentions, answer questions, and see whether we are a good fit.
